You don't like being lied to..so does your audienve

Bad Copy vs. Good Copy

Can you differentiate?

Yeah... maybe it's like choosing between the right and wrong words, or maybe your tweets offended your audience (what’s worse than that? 🙏💀). So, what is your intention when you write copy? To look good? To deceive? No (though some might see it that way). But the real goal is trust. You're explaining and persuading your audience to buy your service or product.

And guess what? You'll never use lies or deception, because they’re not idiots! So... do you like being lied to? (No!!)

You should say something like this: "Trust is built on transparency and honesty." Bingo!

Bro, not gonna lie... even now, you might be thinking of me as a fraud, but come on... I’m being honest with you all (just like you, I’m also a beginner, but I’ve been in this field for the past two months).

“Join millions of other copywriters.''

(Bruh, this is too exaggerated... testimonials, maybe?)

“Success is guaranteed.”

(Hmm, sounds good, but where’s the proof?)

Just like these... you’re allowed to use big words if you have the evidence. But if you don’t, you’d better not use them, because it will only raise doubt with your audience.

Of course, we’re basically helpers and problem-solvers. We must not lie to our readers, as it could lead to danger (misconceptions, false information, wrong education, etc.).

That’s it. So, what was that again? You don’t like being lied to.

Trust is built on transparency and honesty.

Be authentic with your audience. Connect with them through trust, not just fancy words.
