I’ve been seeing that copywriting needs effort and determination just like math… because they say, “people think copywriting is a talent you’ve been born with.” But those legendary copywriters don’t agree with that. It’s only your passion, your willpower, the hard work, the mindset... that’s all. 


So, that was just to tell you again that copywriting isn’t something you can get naturally… it’s by practice, repetition, dedication, etc.


So… today, you gon' have to take part in this discussion where we’re gonna analyze some copywriting samples on the web.


Sample 1: Jack Daniel's

“When folks joke that WILLIAM GROGAN SHOULD KEEP HIS DAY JOB,  

he doesn’t mind  

[His day job is making whiskey]”  


Aight guys, I admit this... I don’t really understand what the writer’s saying here, so I’m not gonna explain it. But if you get it, you can go ahead and do it, tho.


Sample 2: Liquid Death 

Like, what was your first reaction when you found out Liquid Death was just a can of water, but it fucking feels like a beer can??? Right? Absolutely fucking shocking...  

Same here...  

And the phrase that kills it all is:  

“Don’t be scared, it’s just water.”


(Like damn, bruh, who the fuck packs water like that?)  


Another line is:  

“Murder your thirst.”  


Ngl... this is some fucking marketing genius. Out of the red ocean, no bullshit, for real bruh.  


Yeah, from this one we gotta know:  

Creativity isn’t just about “I created this out of thin air.” It’s a combination no one has ever imagined.  

Like, did you ever imagine a cool can with a fucking rock-and-roll design, and inside it’s not some venomous shit but just WATER? Yeah, that’s the definition of creativity. I call it “COMBINATION.”


Yeah, another thing is about the copywriting.  

So in this Liquid Death shit, what did you learn about copywriting?  

Bruh... it’s “emotional connection.”  

They fucking knew your first “EXPRESSION” and what’s going through your head... you’d be thinking, “oh damn, what’s in it?” They knew exactly what you’d be thinking.  

Then they speak to your thoughts, and BOOM, that’s where the connection happens 🤞🤞🤞.


((What’s that? The ability to visualize and imagine someone’s emotional fluctuations.))


So yeah, let’s wrap this up:  

1. Just keep going.  

2. (Idk).  

3. Creativity = combination of existing ideas and stuff.  

Imagination is needed to feel the whole process—how someone’s emotional stages transition from one state to another so you can predict their thoughts.


Damn… I’m a genius, don’t you think?
