Your money is in someone's pocket...don't rob it make him pay for you...

I know (btw, I am talking to those who are still hunting clients) you guys are chasing the clients. But do you know that there are laws out there that you can also apply in this field? Don’t chase, attract.

So here’s how someone like you (I mean me) is doing it. Change the way you perceive things from now on, which is money and materialism. By the way, what was your first reason to learn copywriting? Money? Well, that’s kind of extrinsic motivation, so forget that.

Instead of wanting more money and focusing on making money, you need to understand this: the cause and effect—the garden full of flowers and the butterflies that love flowers. Got it?

Yeah, it’s easy. Think about it. All your money is not really money. It’s controlled by the 'emotional and irrational creature'—people. So here’s my little trick: don’t earn money, earn people (trust, network, connections).

The real part is, however you started your journey in copywriting, you and I both want to make money from our passion. So here’s the trick:

Build your garden (your story),

Plant the flowers (your values),

Attract the butterflies (your audience).

So, the formula is simple. Build your own story, create value in that story, and draw people into your narrative.

For this post, forget about money. Start focusing on people, their needs, and their desires. That’s all.

Remember the classic 'sell me this pen' exercise? The person needs a pen because they need to write their name down, but they have only paper, nothing to write with. They want the pen because it appeals to them.

The true currency is emotions. I hope we can all make it out."

 Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
